Making Your Why Known In The World
Simon Sinek revealed his Golden Circle TED Talk in 2010. Since that time, many of us have attempted to make a difference and define our own “why” in the world.
As of today, b3 Remarkable is relaunching—full-time. My team and I are “all in” and looking ahead to develop Remarkable leaders so that people prosper, our planet thrives, and profits are responsibly maximized.
My dad was a professional educator before we moved to the family farm in Southwest Kansas and he and mom became entrepreneurial wheat farmers and cattle ranchers. Even as he changed professions he remained an educator. He invested in his four kids and whoever was sitting around our dinner table. As I think back, he facilitated learning by asking questions and always encouraging us to debate and express our ideas. Dad wanted everyone to succeed.
The more I reflect on his legacy I realize this is my ultimate goal and the goal of the company I’m working to build: I want everyone to succeed. And when we invest in leaders everyone gets better together.
b3’s why is to help organizations improve employee engagement to generate sustainable profits and a healthier planet.
Facilitated learning, executive coaching, and keynote speaking are all part of the tools we use to make companies more successful. We start by understanding the needs of your organization through deep dialogue and then fully customize programming to help your organization achieve its desired goals.
Today, I challenge you, as I have been challenged, to answer three questions in the next month:
What is your company why?
How will you go about achieving this why?
What can you do to make your why more apparent to the world?
